The University of Melbourne is centrally located in Melbourne, and there are a range of accomodation options available. The following list is by no means exhaustive, but the hotels and colleges listed have indicated that accomodation is available. All options listed here are within an easy ten minute walk of the University. A map showing the locations of the two listed hotels in relation to the University of Melbourne is available here.
Please note that college accomodation must be booked as part of your registration using the online form (now disabled). If you wish to stay at a hotel, you will need to contact them yourself.
As always, early booking is recommended.
The government rate is available to people attending the OzViz 03 workshop. This is $110 per night for single, double, or twin share. Breakfast is not included, but options for breakfast range from $12-$20 per day.

Mention that you are attending a "University of Melbourne conference" to receive discount rate of $135 per night including breakfast. Double or twin share with breakfast is $148.

Located right on the University of Melbourne Campus, St Mary's College offers convenience and budget accomodation. All rooms are single, with basin, etc, and there are shared bathrooms. The rate for bed and breakfast is $45 (plus GST) per person per night.

Ormond College is located on the University of Melbourne campus, and features beautiful stone buildings dating from 1879. All rooms are single, and there are shared bathrooms. The rate for accomodation is $47 (plus GST) per person per night.
