Description

Bernard Meade

This image was produced by taking a displacement map and offsetting vertices on a 1000x1000 point mesh. The image shows a theoretical physics model simulating the scattering of subatomic particles.

Protein Databank files, rendered for demonstration purposes.

3DSMAX has a physics engine and I wanted to see how well it could handle a dangling chain. The chain started horizontal and dropped with gravity. This image is several seconds into the swing.

Infografica released their Clothreyes product free for 3DSMAX 3. The resulting animation provides a very realistic flag as well as other fabric simulations.

Andrew Bonollo

This model is actually from the free collection provided by 3DCafe. Andrew provided all the textures which come from actual photos of the heart. Andrew also animated the heart.

Another frame from the "Cloister" animation. The model is from the 3DCafe catalogue.
